Quick answer: OE means the washer can’t drain (LG). Check the drain hose for kinks, clogs or freezing and that it isn’t too high, clean the drain pump filter, then run a Spin Only cycle and listen for the pump. If the pump hums but OE returns, run Tub Clean and use less detergent; if the pump makes no sound, LG says the unit needs repair service.
LG’s newer error code list groups OE with E03/E21. On LG top loaders, LG says OE shows if the washer can’t drain for 13 minutes.
